VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the ABJ Scots!

Volunteers are an integral part of our every season. They help with game photography, team meals, equipment management, and so much more. We are grateful for their time, talents, and energy.

Team Meal Coordinator

Coordinates with General Manager to set dates and budget for all pre-game team meals. Sets menus, purchases supplies, and follows up with volunteers to ensure food and time commitments are being met.

Trainer

Assists injured players at practices and games. Maintains inventory of medical supplies. Collects and maintains records or players' medical history and contact information.

Equipment Assistant

Provides assistance to the Equipment Manager as required.

Auditor

Reviews books, accounts, records, and statements after the end of the fiscal year (December 31).

Game Story Writer

Prepares a summary article of each game, in collaboration with the Photographer, for local media and school admin.

Game Announcer

Provides play-by-play of games using booth equipment. Follows proper closing procedure at end of each game.

Jacket Sales Coordinator

Works with General Manager assist players with sizing and ordering jackets. Takes point on vendor payment, order finalizing, and jacket distribution.

Equipment Manager

Arranges distribution, repair, cleaning, and return of player equipment in conjunction with coaching staff. Coordinates transport of equipment to games.

Photographer

Attends games, practices, and team events to take photographs of players, coaches and fans. Also responsible for the year-end banquet PowerPoint.

Banquet Committee Helper

Assists the Banquet Coordinator as required.

Statistician

Inputs stats from each game into HUDL for team use.

Spotter

Assists Game Announcer in identifying players, calls, and action on the field
